Our Expertise
We are a Member of Recolight Ltd, the UK’s leading WEEE scheme for the lighting industry. Via Recolight, we offer a free of charge recycling service for waste lamps and luminaires*. It is important to note that the service includes free containers and free collection from your sites – most other WEEE schemes will expect you to take responsibility for delivering waste to a nominated recycling facility.
For multi-site luminaire roll outs, Recolight will attend your project start-up meeting with your nominated contractor to help alignment with project schedules.
Recolight provide skips for luminaires, containers for lamps and batteries**, along with all the relevant consignment notes giving you an auditable trail. All waste collected by Recolight is recycled within the UK, at Approved Authorised Treatment Facilities.
Working with the lighting industry, Recolight offer support and services to help their Producer Members transition to a Circular Economy. They provide a Reuse Hub for lighting, and deliver workshops, webinars, Circular Lighting Report, and Circular Lighting Live.
